Ervin was a friend of mine, as he was of most of our classmates.  In our Junior year at Vigor he painted a cartoon on my car.  It was a faded, light green, '51 English Ford; a 'little, almost white, bug' if you will.  Well, when the song 'Running Bear and Little White Dove' came out, we, mostly Ervin, had the bright idea to paint a 'Runnin' Bear' chasing a 'Little White Bug' with a fly swat on the front fenders of my car!  At one time I had a copy of the drawing he made to work from but don't know what happened to it over the years and never got a picture of the car.  Wouldn't that be something to put on the website?!
Thanks Ervin.
