Ronnie passed away suddenly on November 22, 2003, only a few days before he was to retire. He was a property appraiser and the industrial appraiser for Mobile County for almost 29 years.

He enjoyed sailing on his Catalina 22 -- the Nautione, and fishing. We both liked to travel. Ronnie wanted to see more of the United States first, so we made trips to Maine, Key West and to Mount Rushmore in South Dakota, making many happy memories along the way.

Ronnie had a daughter, Rhonda Long, and a stepson, Brent Hopkins & 4 granddaughters. He thoroughly enjoyed the grandchildren, lighting up like a Xmas tree whenever they came to visit.

I am grateful for the times I shared with this lovable guy for he enjoyed life to the fullest.
