Married July 21, 1961 to Curtis Edgar
Byrd, Biloxi, MS. Federal career began with Dept. of Veterans
Affairs, Biloxi-Gulfport, MS 1/4/ 1971 and ended May 12, 1997 with
transfer to Armed Forces Retirement Home, Gulfport, MS. Retired
1/2/2004 with 33 years 7 months of service. Retired as Contracting
Officer in Acquisition and Materiel Management Service at the
Retirement Home. Have four children, (Alan, Russell, Karl and
Martha) and eight grandchildren. Living the easy life playing golf,
reading, traveling, etc. since I retired.
Husband retired from CSX Railroad
System in Feb. 1997 and was raised in Biloxi, MS. We have lived
in Ocean Springs since we married in 1961.
